Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats: S.W.O.T.

Have you ever done a S.W.O.T. analysis on yourself? Sure, you’ve done this quite a bit already with your marketing, sales, and sponsorship teams, but what about yourself? In keeping with the theme of always improving yourself and finding your true center, passion or fulfillment, spend a few minutes writing out a S.W.O.T. analysis on yourself.

STRENGTHS, WEAKNESSES, OPPORTUNITIES, STRENGTHS

Strengths – What are you good at? What do others compliment you on? What do you enjoy most?

Weaknesses – What are you not particularly adept at doing? What are your struggles? What would you like to improve upon in your life?

Opportunities – What potential do you have? Are you aware of your surroundings? How can you better utilize what you’re already surrounded with or capable of doing?

Threats – Where do your vulnerabilities lie? What potential pitfalls do you see ahead? What obstacles do you know you must overcome?

Think about these four elements, write them down, and keep them at the forefront of your attention. A S.W.O.T. analysis is a great way to begin setting and achieving goals and will give you a framework for understanding the steps to achieving what you desire.
